4x10-hour shifts, 07:00 - 17:30. Overnight, weekend, and holiday call required.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Registered Nurse will provide direct care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. The RN will work with a specialized team to ensure the highest level of patient care in both elective and emergency situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all phases of cardiac catheterization, including pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure care.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes.
• Administer medications and provide necessary interventions as outlined in care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate comprehensive care and patient safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of charge experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
• Electrophysiology (EP) experience is a plus.
