Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) - Days

Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:00 - 16:30), on-call every 6th weekend during the contract.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology RN will be responsible for monitoring conscious sedation and providing care for patients undergoing various interventional radiology procedures, including neuro interventions for stroke. The RN will work in an environment equipped with three labs, interacting with various healthcare teams and supporting patients under moderate sedation or general anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients under conscious sedation in MRI, CT, and US as well as interventional radiology cases.
• Provide care for patients undergoing invasive procedures requiring RN support.
• Rotate call for emergent after-hours cases.

Required Experience / Certification / Licensure

• 1 year of RN experience in an Interventional Radiology department preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Experience with specific interventional procedures such as angioplasty, carotid stenting, and vascular closure systems recommended.
• A valid Oklahoma or compact RN license is required at the time of submission.
