Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with 3 – 12 hour shifts, every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Job Description

The Travel RN - Med-Surg is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting. Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a hospital setting and should be proficient in various advanced skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and administer medications.
• Provide wound care, drain management, and other therapeutic procedures.
• Monitor patients' telemetry data and conduct EKGs as needed.
• Participate in bedside shift reporting and hourly safety rounding.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Compact License at submission.
• BLS certification required.
• IV certification required.
• Experience in Med-Surg with proficiency in procedures such as CBI, chest tube management, foley insertion, and central line dressing changes.
