Registered Nurse - Adult Patient Care

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

The position focuses on providing care to an adult patient population, including those undergoing total knee and total hip replacements, neuro spine procedures, urology treatment, trauma overflow, and surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with diverse diagnoses including stroke, seizure, dementia, brain tumors, and acute mental status changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system.
• Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary support services.
• Float between units as needed; maintain a flexible schedule that includes working every third weekend and every other holiday.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must hold a valid Pennsylvania or compact RN license.
• 2 years of nursing experience required.
• Strong background in caring for neuro patients is essential.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Additional certifications in BLS are mandatory.
