Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cath Lab RN to provide high-quality patient care in our acute care hospital setting. This role involves working with a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures in the catheterization lab. Candidates should be proficient in utilizing advanced clinical skills and maintaining a patient-centered approach in all aspects of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab, including pre-operative and post-operative management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform necessary procedures according to protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions during procedures, responding to emergencies as necessary.
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active Alaska RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is necessary.
• Ability to work on-call one day per week and every 4th/5th weekend.
