12-hour shifts - Days (0645 to 1915) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to float between various medical and surgical units. Candidates must possess a current Hawaii nursing license upon acceptance of the offer. Medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across multiple units, including Medical, Laulima (surgical acute), and occasionally Cardiovascular units.
• Monitor and manage a diverse patient population and assist in various procedures as needed.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes effectively.
• Adhere to established nurse-to-patient ratios and unit protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC are preferred.
• Candidates must possess an active State of Hawaii license before the start of the assignment.
