Registered Nurse - Day Shift

Job Description

Provide professional nursing care to patients following established standards, practices, and healthcare techniques. Demonstrate competence in making professional judgments pertaining to patient care. Assist providers in patient care and education. Actively participate as a member of the healthcare team to engage patients, families, and caregivers in the coordination of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality patient care and treatment, including examination, diagnostic and treatment procedures, and patient education.
• Administer medications and treatments utilizing various types of equipment for examination and treatment procedures.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to coordinate care.
• Demonstrate knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions in a medical office environment.
• React calmly and effectively in emergency situations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
• Must meet the American Heart Association's standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renew BLS every two years.

Day Shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
