Schedule

The position requires working 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with weekend coverage every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a variety of pediatric critical care settings, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU. The RN will float within their scope to meet the needs of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in critical conditions.
• Float to various pediatric units as necessary.
• Manage patient care assignments effectively, adhering to established ratios.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience is required.
• Current South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact State RN License.
• Certifications in BLS and PALS (AHA) are mandatory.
• Experience with ECMO and CRRT is preferred but not required.
