Schedule

Night shift, working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. Weekend and holiday rotation are required.

Job Description

The Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool RN will provide specialized nursing care across various pediatric units including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU. The nurse will float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs while maintaining exemplary standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
• Manage and monitor patients requiring advanced interventions such as ECMO and BiPAP/CPAP.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including vasopressors.
• Conduct assessments and interpret diagnostic tests, including ABGs and dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience.
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License.
• BLS and PALS certifications required (American Heart Association accepted).
• Experience with ECMO and CRRT preferred.
