Schedule

Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (08:00 AM - 04:30 PM), Monday through Friday.

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Physical Therapist with 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient experience. Candidates must have both inpatient and outpatient experience, and should be prepared to commence work as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to aquatic therapy, E-stim, and myofascial release.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and goals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in the Meditech charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist license.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Ability to pass the Rehab Department Aquatic Competency test within 90 days of hire if aquatic therapy is part of duties.
• Experience with a variety of conditions including but not limited to orthopedic issues, post-operative care, and geriatrics.
