Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for observing residents, administering medications, and supervising nursing assistants. You will play a critical role in daily operations, ensuring a safe and effective care environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor residents for changes in physical and mental well-being.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and document accurately.
  • Supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) and ensure proper care delivery.
  • Participate in physician rounds and assist with patient medical needs.
  • Conduct wound care and administer feeding interventions as required.
  • Complete necessary documentation for admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with infection control practices.
  • Provide communication and support to residents’ families regarding care and treatment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • 3+ years of current nursing experience required.
  • Must be willing to float to different units as needed.
  • IV certification required (or willingness to obtain during onboarding).
  • BLS certification required.
  • COVID vaccination required; no exemptions accepted.
  • Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be accepted.
  • Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience in rural or small facilities is highly preferred.
