Job Description

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for observing residents, administering medications, and supervising nursing assistants. You will play a critical role in daily operations, ensuring a safe and effective care environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor residents for changes in physical and mental well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and document accurately.
- Supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) and ensure proper care delivery.
- Participate in physician rounds and assist with patient medical needs.
- Conduct wound care and administer feeding interventions as required.
- Complete necessary documentation for admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in accordance with infection control practices.
- Provide communication and support to residents’ families regarding care and treatment.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 3+ years of current nursing experience required.
- Must be willing to float to different units as needed.
- IV certification required (or willingness to obtain during onboarding).
- BLS certification required.
- COVID vaccination required; no exemptions accepted.
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be accepted.
- Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred.
- Experience in rural or small facilities is highly preferred.
