Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an acute care facility with strong critical thinking and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Participate in patient and family education.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate intervention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility.
• Must possess current Iowa nursing license.
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, TNCC.
• Mandatory reporter certification for child and adult care.
• 10-panel drug test, including opiates.
• Recent immunization titers (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB) within the last 12 months.
