Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide direct nursing care to patients in the emergency department, interacting with staff and patients as part of a fast-paced team. The RN will respond to a variety of medical situations, ensuring optimal patient care is delivered.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care and triage for patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols.
• Assist in life-saving procedures and protocols as necessary.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (Epic).
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS. CPI and TNCC preferred.
• Epic charting experience is required.
