Night shift, 3x12-hour schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. Requires every other weekend availability.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Stepdown ICU RN to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be comfortable working in a stepdown unit.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patient care in the stepdown ICU setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid South Carolina RN license or a Compact license in hand prior to starting.
• 1 year of nursing experience in an ICU, with 2 years preferred.
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS and CPI preferred.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry and Epic charting required.
