Registered Nurse - Flex RN Float Night Shift

Schedule

12-hour night shifts from 1845 to 0715, scheduled for 36 hours per week following the first week of orientation.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will float between various medical and surgical units, providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population. Candidates must possess a current Hawaii RN license by the start of their assignment. Medical and religious exemption requests for vaccination proof will not be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across multiple units including Medical, Laulima (Surgical Acute), and Cardiovascular.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes within the scope of practice.
• Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures regarding documentation and patient care.
• Participate in orientation and training programs specific to each unit.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2-10 years of nursing experience required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory; PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, and ENPC are preferred.
• Must possess a valid Hawaii RN license by the start of the assignment.
