Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM (Block scheduling not guaranteed)

Job Description

The Emergency Department provides care to a diverse patient population, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The unit consists of 64 beds, including areas for triage and trauma care. Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Specialty equipment includes Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun. Charge capability is highly preferred, and floating to different areas may be required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of experience in the Emergency Department with pediatric experience preferred.
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC certifications.
• Active New York RN license with NURSYS report for license verification.
• EMR experience with EPIC is required.
• 2 recent references from Emergency Department Charge/Manager RNs.
• Driver's license with address matching demographics.
