Job Description

Join our dynamic Orthopedic Trauma Specialty Medsurge unit where you will be part of a collaborative healthcare team focused on providing exceptional patient care. Our unit consists of 36 beds and a comprehensive staff including a charge nurse, registered nurses, and certified nursing assistants.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care for polytrauma patients and those with orthopedic and trauma conditions.
• Administer treatments, including Heparin and Protonix drips.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in daily huddles to discuss patient care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 1 year of Medsurg nursing experience required.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with orthopedic and/or trauma patients preferred.
