Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) rotating shifts.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in the Cardiac Stepdown unit, handling patients who require close monitoring and advanced cardiac care. This role demands a high level of clinical competency and decision-making skills to assess and manage patient care effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions with a focus on cardiac health.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards of care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess at least 18 months of recent Cardiac Stepdown experience.
• Active RN license in Ohio or a Compact State License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Electrocardiogram (ECG) rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessment during orientation.
