Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel RN specializing in Stepdown care to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality patient care in stepdown or ICU settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to stepdown patients, monitoring their condition and responding accordingly.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities in compliance with facility policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and health management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Alabama state or multistate RN license (no prior hits)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Stepdown or ICU settings
• Cerner experience preferred
• Patient-to-nurse ratio: 4:1
