5x8 Days (07:00 - 15:30), Monday through Friday; no weekends.

Job Description

The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established protocols. The candidate will ensure accurate and timely results while maintaining a high level of quality assurance and control. This position requires the ability to work independently and demonstrate proficiency with various laboratory equipment and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests and analyses, including but not limited to blood and urine tests.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Verify the accuracy of test results and report findings to relevant healthcare personnel.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
• Must have ASCP certification and BLS preferred.
• Experience with patient care and laboratory charting systems, preferably Cerner.
