Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide high-quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will possess clinical expertise and have experience handling diverse medical issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for patients experiencing chest pain, stroke, sepsis, cardiac arrest, trauma, respiratory illness, and respiratory arrest.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Belmont in trauma, Giraffe warmer for neonates, and Rapid infuser.
• Participate in emergency response, including drug administration, intubation, and managing ventilated patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Adhere to active ongoing education and training on current practices and technologies.
• Maintain accurate patient records utilizing the EPIC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a preference for candidates with charge experience.
• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI, and TNCC.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
• Travel experience is required; consideration for first-time travelers with 5+ years of experience.
