7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Night shift, 3x12-hour rotations, every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide critical respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include ventilator management, medication administration, and comprehensive patient assessments to ensure optimal respiratory therapy outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory procedures including extubation, nasal airway placements, and suctioning.
• Administer inhaled medications via various techniques and manage mechanical ventilation.
• Conduct pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care.
• Experience with BiPAP and CPAP, as well as troubleshooting high-pressure alarms.
• Deliver high flow nasal cannula and trach collar oxygen therapy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Adult Critical Care.
• Active RRT certification and ACLS, BLS certifications required.
• Experience with Trauma Level I settings is mandatory.
• 1 year of EPIC charting experience required.
