Registered Nurse - NOC Shift

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating care needs for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods, and techniques of nursing practice. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN collaborates with patients, their family members, significant others, professional peers, and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. The RN will also direct nursing support staff in providing patient care according to standards of nursing practice, as well as administrative and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions based on established plans.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and modify care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and patient family members.
• Direct nursing support staff in daily patient care activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current PA Registered Nurse License - Required
• Basic Life Support Certification - Required
• 1 year of experience in the area of clinical specialty - Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Preferred

Schedule

This position is for a Night Shift (NOC) with 12-hour shifts.
