7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3x12hr Nights; 36 hours/week, every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The Labor & Delivery Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring individualized attention and medical expertise throughout the birthing experience. Nurses will operate in an 8-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:1 during active labor and 1:2/3 for mother-baby care. This role requires strong assessment skills and the ability to support a range of birthing options, from natural childbirth to full epidural anesthesia, available 24 hours a day.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of recent Labor Delivery / OB experience (REQUIRED)
• Fetal Monitoring Experience (REQUIRED)
• Previous travel experience (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
• Current certifications in BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP (REQUIRED)
• BSN (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification (HIGHLY PREFERRED)
