Job Description

The Surgical Technician is responsible for setting up equipment and instruments required for surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment, and assisting in patient preparations. This role includes passing instruments to the surgeon, recounting supplies post-operation, and maintaining overall support during the surgical process.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment and instruments for surgical procedures.
• Sterilize inventory equipment to maintain stock for surgical procedures.
• Assist in preparing the patient for surgery.
• Pass instruments and sterile supplies to the surgeon during the operation.
• Recount surgical supplies and instruments at the end of the operation.
• Maintain an overall sterile environment during the operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
