Day shift, 4x12-hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00), weekdays with every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in acute care and telemetry nursing, with the ability to care for pediatric and adolescent patients occasionally. The Registered Nurse may be floated to other units, including ICU, based on patient care needs, with support from a House Supervisor available 24/7. The patient ratio is 1:5.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 70-bed rural facility.
• Monitor telemetry patients and respond to emergency situations.
• Utilize LPN support on night shifts.
• Float to other units as needed in response to patient care requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or compact license (pending license acceptable).
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) are required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is preferred.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and patient management.
