7 PM - 7 AM shift. Requires working at least every third weekend and 3 shifts per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse for our 28-bed Cardiovascular Care Unit. The unit focuses on acute cardiac patients, including those undergoing interventions such as catheterizations, stents, and pacemaker placements, as well as stroke patients and overflow from other PCUs. We prioritize safety, quality care, and strong teamwork within our nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac and stroke patients.
• Ensure documentation compliance and adherence to safety protocols.
• Engage in team-oriented practices, including daily Nurse Leader Rounds.
• Assist with procedures related to cardiac care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the patient care environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Basic Dysrhythmia certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification.
• Cardiac experience is a plus.
• A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
