4 days a week, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM. On-call duties as needed.

Job Description

The Travel CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist will work in the cardiovascular operating room, assisting surgeons by preparing the surgical field, passing instruments and supplies during surgery, and maintaining a sterile environment. The role also involves ensuring the smooth flow of procedures and assisting in turning over operating rooms to keep surgical cases flowing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the surgical field.
• Pass instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Ensure a sterile environment throughout procedures.
• Assist in turning over operating rooms and preparing for subsequent cases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current CST certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology (NBSTA) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR, with strong cardiac surgery skills.
• Experience with thoracic da Vinci surgery is preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred.
