Registered Nurse - Heavy Orthopedic Experience

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-hour schedule (06:00 - 18:30) with rotating weekends and on-call requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with strong orthopedic experience. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in acute care settings and hold certifications in BLS and NBSTSA. Experience in surgical settings involving abdominal hysterectomies, orthopedic robotic surgery, and various orthopedic procedures is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care to patients in an orthopedic setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage patient assessments and implement care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Participate in call rotations and weekend coverage as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience with heavy orthopedic cases.
• BLS and NBSTSA certifications are required.
• Strong experience in various surgical procedures including anterior cervical fusion, spinal fusion, and total joint replacements.
