Days 12 (7:00 AM - 8:00 PM); 3 days a week; call twice a week (1-2 nights per week and every third weekend); every other weekend.

Job Description

The MRI Technologist will produce MRI images of designated anatomical areas as ordered by a licensed physician or practitioner. The role focuses on providing imaging for various patient populations, including cardiac/cardiovascular, mammary, GI, endocrine, renal, skeletal conditions, and diseases such as CAD, PVD, CVA/TIA, COPD, CHF, and Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality MRI images in accordance with established practices and procedures.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines related to MRI procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of proper examination sequencing and preparations for various patient ages (neonate, pediatric, adult, geriatric).
