Cardiac Stepdown RN - Night/Day Rotating Shift

Schedule

Shifts are a combination of night (19:00 - 07:30) and day (07:00 - 19:30) rotations, with 3x12-hour shifts only. Shifts may be variable to meet operational needs.

Job Description

Join a leading healthcare system in a Cardiac Stepdown unit, providing exceptional care to patients requiring close monitoring and intervention. You will be part of a dedicated team focused on delivering quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a rewarding, fast-paced Cardiac Stepdown environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and procedures while maintaining a safe practice environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• A minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the Cardiac Stepdown specialty prior to travel.
• Must hold a valid Ohio nursing license or compact state license.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• ECG rhythm recognition proficiency to be demonstrated during orientation.
• Must be willing to work at least every other holiday.
