Registered Nurse - Long Term Care

12-hour day shifts with minimum every other weekend commitment.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting. The RN will be responsible for overseeing patient care, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and collaborating with healthcare teams to meet the needs of residents, including those with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to LTC patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient health and respond to changes in condition.
• Document patient care and communicate effectively with families and healthcare teams.
• Float to other units as required to meet patient care needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior travel experience preferred.
• Active BLS certification through AHA.
• Experience in Long Term Care settings is required.
• Must be comfortable working with dementia patients.
• Reliability for every other weekend and holiday commitments (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Years Day).
