Night shifts, 3 - 12 hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and neurological status, and interpret arrhythmias.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and wellness strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required.
• MUST have an active Ohio RN license or a Compact State license in hand.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required and must be active.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation.
