Night shift, 3x12 hours from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with every other weekend requirement.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves direct patient care for adults and geriatrics in a dynamic hospital environment. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong clinical skills and the ability to manage multiple patients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients on the telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
• Administer medications and manage patient care protocols.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to enhance patient outcomes.
• Assist with various medical procedures and treatments as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two years of experience in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
• Current South Carolina RN license or multi-state Compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required; NIH Stroke Scale preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred, along with familiarity in managing ports, IVs, and telemetry monitoring.
