7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 3 shifts per week. Must work 1-2 days or evenings during winter holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in labor and delivery practices and demonstrate proficiency in a variety of obstetric procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform cervical exams, IUPC, and FSE placement.
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
• Manage IV starts and lab draws.
• Provide care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and during recovery from cesarean sections.
• Work collaboratively with a team that includes OB techs, charge nurses, and secretarial staff.
• Utilize advanced tools such as Jada, fetal pillow, and Cook's catheters.
• Participate in hospital initiatives promoting patient safety and satisfaction.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience, with preference given to candidates with at least 1 travel contract completed.
• Certifications required: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring, NRP, ACLS, BLS.
• Advanced skills required in NRP, ACLS, BLS, and AWHONN intermediate fetal monitoring.
