Day shift, 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week with every third weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Step Down Nurse who is comfortable managing Cardizem and Heparin drips, as well as telemetry. This role requires a strong clinical skill set and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a med/surg step down unit.
• Administer and monitor Cardizem and Heparin drips.
• Utilize telemetry effectively to monitor patient conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current nursing license (Nursys).
• Experience in a med/surg step down unit preferred.
• Basic Pharmacology and Rhythm Interpretation knowledge is essential.
• Vaccination records including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, and Tdap are required.
• Completion of a basic drug screening and criminal background check.
