Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend and holiday are required. There may be floating to other departments.

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in our dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves managing patients with a variety of medical emergencies and requires strong clinical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage patient flow and triage incoming patients efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency care setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, and PALS.
• Familiarity with charting systems, preferably Epic.
• Active Maryland or Compact Nursing License.
