Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform cat scan procedures using prescribed techniques, ensuring the production of high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols. The role includes reviewing requisitions for completeness, adjusting equipment settings, and utilizing standard positioning techniques to achieve optimal imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform scanning procedures of various organs, localizing sites of pathological processes.
• Order and administer IV and oral contrast, documenting procedures in the appropriate systems.
• Complete examinations in a timely manner and ensure all necessary paperwork is processed.
• Utilize GE and Siemens scanner equipment effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience; first-time travelers accepted.
• MD license required prior to start.
• Certification in BLS, ARRT, and ARRT advanced certification is mandatory.
• Experience in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction is required.
• Preferred experience includes aspirations, biopsies, colography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and PET/CT.
