Job Description

Seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist with expertise in high-risk environments. The ideal candidate will provide respiratory care to adult and geriatric patients while also assisting in pediatric cases as needed. This position involves floating within the Metro Region between multiple hospitals to ensure all guaranteed hours are completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care for patients including medication delivery, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and airway management.
• Respond to rapid responses and emergency codes, performing CPR as needed.
• Assist in pediatric respiratory therapy cases and emergency situations.
• Perform blood gas sampling and analysis along with patient education.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid Ohio RRT license.
• NRP certification required prior to start date.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP.
