Job Description

The Fifth Floor Gastrointestinal (GI)/COVID Medical/Surgical Unit is a thirty-four-bed unit designed to provide care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. The unit features acute care private rooms with telemetry capability.

Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in the Acute GI Med/Surg Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, including assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med/Surg or related specialty.
• Required certification: Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Preferred certification: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
