Schedule

Day 3x12-Hour Shift (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM) with liver call. In the absence of liver or transplant cases, other surgical cases may be performed.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled RN for the Operating Room with extensive experience in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplantation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transplant procedures, specifically in organ placement.

Responsibilities

• Assist in liver transplantation and other necessary surgical procedures.
• Participate in training and support for new staff and students.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years direct experience in liver/transplant OR.
• Proficiency in Misonix/CUSA technology required.
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required at the time of submission; NIHSS certification to be obtained prior to start.
• Must have experience in organ placement, not just harvesting.
• Must be nicotine free and pass a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine.
