LPN Medical Surgical - Night Shift

Schedule

3x12 Days (07:00 - 19:00), with every other weekend and holiday requirement.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated LPN for our Medical Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have the ability to take their own patient assignments with RN support and have recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications (oral, IM, SQ, NG/G-tube) and IV therapy with pumps.
• Monitor and document vital signs, pain assessments, and intake/output.
• Communicate patient status changes to RNs and MDs promptly.
• Perform basic wound care and Foley catheter insertion.
• Provide patient care including bathing and mouth care, while ensuring isolation precautions are followed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an active New York Single State LPN license (not a Compact state).
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience within the last 2 years.
• EPIC charting experience is required.
