Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Stepdown Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care in a stepdown unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac nursing and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in a stepdown setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and care plans.
• Document patient care and progress in electronic medical records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in Cardiac Stepdown or similar specialty.
• Current Ohio nursing license or a compact state license in hand.
• Active certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Must have experience in ECG rhythm recognition and safety medication practices.
