Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Surgical Technologist with orthopedic and joint experience to join our dedicated team. The position is based in a busy main Operating Room with 14 ORs, handling a diverse range of surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and the necessary certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, excluding CVOR, Neuro, and Transplants.
• Work collaboratively with a team including RNs, Charge Nurses, Surgical Techs, and other support staff.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and safety throughout the surgical process.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.
• Utilize EMR (Meditech) effectively for documentation and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have Ortho/Joint experience.
• NBSTA and DORA certifications are required.
• Flexibility to work day/evening hours as needed.
• Experience in a Level I trauma center is preferred but not required.
