Job Description

The MICU unit is seeking a dedicated Travel RN to join our team. This unit specializes in critical care with 26 beds and a supportive team of 15 staff members, including both day and night shift personnel. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong capabilities in managing critically ill patients while working effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients requiring advanced care, including CRRT and chemotherapy.
• Perform procedures such as bronchoscopies and central line placements.
• Administer medication drips and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in critical care is preferred.
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:2 efficiently.
