Physical Therapist - Acute Care

Schedule

This position entails working 5 days per week, with shifts consisting of 8 or 10 hours. Flexibility for weekend coverage is required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to work in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of various medical conditions and the ability to communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 8-10 patients per day.
• Provide physical therapy for conditions including total joints, CVA, CHF, COPD, and sepsis.
• Coordinate with nursing, physicians, and other healthcare personnel.
• Utilize the EPIC charting system for documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active AZ PT License required.
• AHA BLS certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of one year of experience outside of clinicals is expected, with a strong understanding of pathology and lab values.
