MS/Tele Registered Nurse - Ortho Unit

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) with every other weekend and holiday as required.

Job Description

The MS/Tele Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care in the orthopedic unit, focusing on orthopedic and spine patients, including joint replacements, fracture repairs, and various medical/surgical diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history.
• Assist with patient activities and rehabilitation exercises.
• Provide support and education to patients and their families.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members for optimal patient care.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MS/Tele with a focus on orthopedics/spine.
• Current RN license in Maryland or compact license.
• Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
