3-12 Hour Shifts: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, every other weekend and holiday required. No call or block scheduling.

Job Description

The Emergency Department (ED) nurse will work in a dynamic environment caring for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics in a facility with 34 ED beds and an average of about 100 visits per day. The ED uses Epic for charting and Pyxis for medication management.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients with various medical conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient vitals and health status using Epic.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in triage and manage critical situations efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, and PALS.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required.
