Day shifts, 3x12-hour format (07:00 - 19:00). Requires availability for every other weekend and holiday.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Nurse with 2 years of experience. This facility has a 34-bed ED and handles approximately 100 visits per day across all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics. The ideal candidate will have experience using Epic and Pyxis systems and be able to provide comprehensive emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients of varying ages and conditions.
• Utilize Epic for charting and Pyxis for medication administration.
• Participate in triage and patient assessment.
• Monitor and manage emergency medications and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience required.
• Current NIH Stroke Certification, BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS certifications.
• Previous charge experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to float to like acuities or less if needed.
