Job Description

Join our Med-Surg Cardiac Medical Unit, where you will care for patients with a variety of cardiac conditions. This unit primarily treats hemodynamically stable patients, including those recovering from myocardial infarctions, heart failure, and cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients with telemetry equipment and administer appropriate cardiac medications.
• Provide care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures such as catheterizations and ablations.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist in the management of IV therapy and other medical interventions.
• Document patient care and responses in the electronic medical records system (Allscripts).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN licensure in New Hampshire.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience in cardiac telemetry and understanding of cardiac drips is essential.
• Strong medical-surgical background preferred.
